Greensboro Science Center Reviews

Went to the Greensboro Science Center recently. i left feeling good about it. The animal areas were mostly clean, staff seemed attentive, and you could tell they actually knew the animals. That helped. I also liked seeing the signs and info about enrichment and care. Little things like that make a difference. Only reason I’d say 4 stars instead of 5, a couple of the spaces felt a little tight or busy to me. Not saying I’m an expert or anything. Just something I noticed. But overall, the animals looked healthy, calm, and well cared for from what I could see. Good experience.

The staff were really nice and helped me out , but things moved a little slower than I expected . Overall , it was still a decent experience .

We had a really good time here. My kids stayed busy for what felt like a couple of hours, maybe even longer than I expected, especially with the touch areas and the little science activities. The staff was friendly when we had a few questions, too. It was fun and relaxed, not like it was overly crowded or rushed. We’d probably go back again.

We had such a great time at the science museum, more than I expected. The hands-on exhibits were actually really fun and kept the adults interested too, which was a nice surprise. My kids were especially into the aquarium and all the dinosaur stuff. We ended up staying longer than we planned and still didn’t get to see everything. The staff was friendly as well. Definitely a place we’d go back to.

I checked greensboroscience.org before we went, mostly because I wasn’t sure if I was overthinking the whole parking situation. But it ended up being no hassle at all. We found a spot quickly, and it was close enough that walking in with the kids wasn’t a big deal. Maybe I worried about it more than I needed to, but it definitely made the trip start off on a much better note

I bought our tickets through greensboroscience and was a little cautious at first because I always like to make sure I’m spending money on something that’s actually worth it. Thankfully, it felt like a good value. There was plenty to see, from the aquarium to the animals and some of the science exhibits, so it didn’t feel like we paid for a quick walk-through. Parking was easy, and the ticket process was straightforward, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely go again, especially with kids or when family is visiting.

We stopped by the gift shop on the way out and ended up finding some really cute things for the kids. The prices were actually not as bad as I expected, which was nice, and the staff was friendly too. I’d probably shop there again if we’re back because, I mean, it was easy and the kids liked...

We mainly went for the aquarium, and it was decent. The tanks looked clean, and the penguins were probably the highlight for us, they were fun to just stand and watch for a while. Some spots felt a bit cramped though, especially with kids running around everywhere, so it wasn’t the most relaxed visit. A few of the signs were either hard to read or didn’t have much info, so we ended up moving through quicker than I expected. Overall, not a bad time, just not quite amazing for the price... maybe I’d try it again on a quieter day.

I was hoping for a little more, but it ended up being kind of disappointing. A few of the animals just looked bored or like they didn’t really have much going on, and because of that, it made the whole visit feel a bit slow. I know animals aren’t there to perform or anything, so I wasn’t expecting constant action, but there just wasn’t much to see in general. We walked around thinking maybe the next area would be more interesting, but it mostly felt the same throughout.

Went with my family to try the zipline and some of the adventure activities, and we had a great time. I was a little nervous at first, but the staff were super nice and explained everything in a way that mostly made sense and helped me feel better. The only thing was we had to wait around here and there between some parts, which was kind of annoying. But overall it was still really fun and I’d probably go back again

We went here with the kids sometime last month, or maybe it was the end of the month before, I can’t remember exactly. Either way, it was a really nice, family-friendly place. The kids felt comfortable, we didn’t feel out of place, and it was just an easy, relaxed experience overall...

It’s really accessible and simple enough to use without overthinking everything. I kind of regret not trying it earlier because it would’ve saved me some time and frustration.

I had a good feeling about this, i’m glad I trusted my instinct. My kids loved every bit of it and were happy the whole time. Definitely a win for us.

The concessions were actually decent, and the lines moved along quicker than I expected. Nothing over the top, but it was a smooth experience overall.

I went to the Greensboro Science Center last weekend, and overall it was okay in terms of cleanliness. The main areas looked decent, and the bathrooms were usable, so it wasn’t a disaster or anything. But there were definitely a few spots that felt neglected, like trash sitting near some tables and one area where the floor was sticky. It’s kind of frustrating because you spend time and energy getting there and walking around, and then little things like that make the experience feel more tiring than it should. Not terrible, but I expected the place to be kept up a bit better.

Our membership pretty much paid for itself after just a few visits. The kids always ask to go back, so it’s been really useful for us and definitely worth the money.

We tried one of the educational programs with my kids last weekend, mostly because we were already looking for something to do that didn’t involve screens or another trip to the same playground. The staff was really nice, and the kids definitely picked up some fun animal facts, which they kept repeating on the car ride home. That said, the whole thing felt a bit rushed and a little crowded. I was hoping there would be more hands-on time for the kids instead of just moving quickly from one part to the next. Overall, it wasn’t bad at all, but for the price, I expected it to feel a bit more organized.

I’m glad I chose to go here because it was really easy to walk around and there weren’t any huge crowds to deal with. I’m not a fan of feeling rushed or packed in, so this made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable for me.
